Syrian govt conducts ‘elephant-rocket’ attack

The Syrian government had used ‘elephant rockets’ in attack on the Damascus suburb of Douma, Syria. The attack is said to have killed at least 36 and injured more than 60 persons, including children.

The rockets named after its distinctive noise they make when they are launched, are improvised weapons made by attaching rocket motors to much larger bombs.
