Ranbhumi Rally for Unity ends Day 29 in Weligama

The Ranbhumi Rally for Unity travelling across the country, spreading the message of national unity, marked day 29 of its journey on Friday. The destination of the Rally on Day 29 was Weligama. The convoy made its first stop in the city of Kamburupitiya where a large crowd was present at the event to commence the rally.
The Ranbhumi Rally for Unity was led by a marching band and was extended a warm and hearty welcome in Kamburupitiya. A group including Group Directors of The Capital Maharaja Organisation Limited (TCMOL) Eshini Mudalige, Anuradha Jayasinghe and executive officers, representatives from the National Youth Services Council and invitees were present at the ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Group Director of TCMOL, Eshini Mudalige stated that the people should not allow anyone to divide them based on religion, race and creed and through that, the future generations will be presented a peaceful motherland with no fear of violence.
She further stated that as Sri Lanka’s first local company, the Capital Maharaja Organisation Limited will not back down in the face of challenges, obstacles, allegations and criticisms when doing something better for the future of the country.
Assistant Director of the National Youth Services Council in Matara, T.L.L.A. Jayasekera stated that as a country and as a nation , building of reconciliation is the need of the hour and thus the National Youth Services Council together with the MTV / MBC Network have undertaken “a great task”
The Ranbhumi Rally then entered the Mahanama Bridge in Matara.
Chief Executive Officer and Group Director of The Capital Maharaja Organisation Limited Mohan Bharara and several other executive officers were also present at the occasion.
CEO of The Capital Maharaja Organisation Limited, Mohan Bharara, also spoke at the rally. He he stated that the Ranbhumi Rally for Unity has been instrumental  in taking the message of Peace, Brotherhood, Unity, Mutual Understanding and Trust among the Sinhala, Tamil, Muslim, Christian and all other communities in Sri Lanka. He further noted that it is noteworthy that the Ranbhumi Rally for Unity has been able to take this message from door to door across villages, towns and cities across the island. He went on to add that this will enable Sri Lanka transform into one of the greatest countries in the world and that the organization is committed to all these tasks for the future of our children; and as one of the leading institutions in Sri Lanka, the Capital Maharaja Organisation Limited will never back down from doing what needs to be done for the goodwill and development of the country and the people no matter what challenge it poses.
Chandana Sooriyabandara, The Channel Head of Sirasa TV stated that the MTV/ MBC Network have always been with the people of the country and that the company will continue to support the people in happiness and sadness right throughout.
