The Ranbhumi rally for unity traveling from village to village commenced its journey on Monday (May 11th) from Chunnakam.

Today is the fourth day of the rally and it will travel to Chavakachcheri through Point Pedro.

The Ranbhumi rally for unity is jointly organized by MTV/MBC News1st, The National Youth Services Council and the Colombo Port City. Todays kickoff was made colorful with cultural performances unique to the area, symbolizing national unity.

Northern Province Director of the National Youth Services Council Sarath Chandrapala said that peace and unity is something that is in the hearts and its important to educate the general public about this. He extended his gratitude to MTV/MBC media network and National Youth Services Council for trying to educate people and trying to create lasting peace.
