The Sri Lankan military contingent and medical team deployed for the relief effort, has successfully treated 1420 victims.
Speaking to News1st on Monday, Acting Army Spokesperson Brigadier Jayanath Jayaweera said the team had performed 400 surgeries.
Since the April 25 earthquake, 4,050 rescue workers from 34 different nations have flown to Nepal to help in rescue operations, provide emergency medical care and distribute food and other necessities.
According to Nepalese authorities, the death toll from the quake has reached 7,276.
