The  renowned past-time of skateboarding has been revolutionised by the introduction of “The side-winding circular skates”.

These are the annular skates are propelled by leaning side to side, allowing the user to take off without having to push off the ground. Riders simply place their feet on the two platforms and lean side-to-side to rotate the rubber wheels around the feet, propelling riders forward in a serpentine motion similar to long board skateboarding.

The innovative design was put on sale by Hammacher Schelmer, a store catering to the niche.
