Casualties continue to rise in Yemen (Watch video)

Yemen officials have stated that a recent air strike aimed at a military base, by the Saudi-Coalition on Tuesday had hit a nearby school, injuring more than half a dozen students and went on further to add that the recent unrest has taken its toll on civilians and noncombatants both local and foreign.

According to UNICEF, at least 74 children have been killed and 44 maimed since the fighting erupted on March 26. They went on further to add that these figure do no include casualties reportedly killed in Maitam

The Houthi rebels, that began as a theological movement of peace has been under the scrutiny of the international community, after its military advancements. Following its rise to power , a Saudi-led coalition stepped in on March 25 and began an air strike on Yemen in an effort to stop the Houthis’ advances.

A purported video released on social media shows the manner in which a wounded supporter of the President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi  is being dragged away from the line of fire, today April 8, in the midst of a shooting that occurred in the streets of Aden, Yemen.
