Former Monitoring MP Sajin de Vass Gunawardena was released on bail on Tuesday

Court made this order when MP Sajin de Vass Gunawardena appeared before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today over a case filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.

Court also ordered that the passport of the Former Monitoring MP be impounded.

The case was taken up before Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya. Court ordered a Rs.50,000  cash bail and two sureties of one million rupees each on Sajin de Vass Gunawardena.
