The Presidential Commission to Investigate into Complaints Regarding Missing Persons is scheduled to hand in an interim report to President Maithripala Sirisena on Wednesday.
Chairman of the Commission Maxwell Paranagama said that the observations of the commission and the work carried out by the commission thus far will be presented as an interim report. He added that the commission had recorded around 20,000 complaints, at present. The commission is expected to record evidence on missing persons from Ampara during the first week of April.
