Questions were raised at the cabinet media briefing held on Thursday   regarding the CSN channel.

Question: Minister, yesterday Namal Rajapaksa made a statement that he is only a viewer of CSN. And that they have no ownership over it.

Minister Rajitha Senaratne: They did not say no over the past. It is only now that they are saying it.

Questions were also raised over Yoshitha Rajapaksa being summoned to the CID to record a statement over the possession of a light aircraft.

Cabinet Media Spokesperson, Minister Rajitha Senaratne replied;

He must be questioned as to how he acquired the money? How has be paid the income tax? …….We told that if the police does not know how to do it, we will show the way. From where did Namal Rajapaksa get money to start a law firm. Where is the income of it? There is nothing. They produced someone and covered it up. Gamini Senarath was there. He was removed. All the top heads are with them. Even in the CID. So, another person is being brought to provide the answers. The state has not change, only the government has changed.[/quote]
