Catching a burglar is no easy task. However, what would happen if the burglar who came to rob at night falls asleep?

An alleged burglar who broke into a shop in the sacred city of Mahiyanganaya on Tuesday night, thought he had more time in his hand and decided to rest his eyes after gathering all the goods to ‘take away.’

However, when the arrived at the shop on Wednesday morning, he found the alleged burglar fast asleep with  the goods near him. Measures were taken to apprehend the individual.

Residents suspect that the individual was intoxicated.
