Minister of Internal Transport, Ranjith Maddumabandara says that those who robbed the money of the people in millions, will not be able to get away from the law.

The minister made this observation during a meeting in Monaragala yesterday.

A meeting with UNP activists in Monaragala was held at the UNP district office on Monday.

[quote]The government is taking action against those who robbed the money of the people. We have set up ministerial level committees and we are in the process of identifying those who are guilty. We will give the maximum punishment allowed by the law, to the corrupt individuals who are found guilty.[/quote]
