A four-year-old child was killed on Saturday night when she fell off the 22nd floor of the Havelock City Apartment Complex.

The Wellawatte Police are investigating the fact that the child was rushed to the Kalubowila Hospital, having sustained severe injuries, and that she died following admission.

The child’s body is currently lying at the morgue of the  Kalubowila Hospital morgue The post-mortem examination of  has been scheduled for Sunday.
