Australian fast bowler Brett Lee announced his T20 cricket retirement at the end of this year’s Big Bash League. The 38 year old domestic T20 specialist who has claimed 105 wickets at 30.27 in 117 T20 matches retired from international cricket in 2012 and made his last Indian Premier League appearance for Kolkata Knight Riders in 2013, thereafter continuing as a Sydney Sixers Player since.

Brett Lee’s T20 retirement also brings an end to a career that began nearly 20 years ago since his first-class debut in April 1995.
