A small cargo plane carrying two men aboard has gone missing in Guyana while flying over remote jungles in the South American country.
The two men aboard are said to be the pilot and the cargo plane’s loader who are both Guyanese Citizens. This incident occurred only hours after the Air Asia flight QZ8501 lost contact with the Jakarta air traffic control yesterday.
The civil aviation department of Guyana stated that the plane was carrying fuel other cargo for mining camps in southwestern Guyana. The missing plane is said to be a twin-engine, 10-seat Britten-Norman Islander plane and the rescue parties are yet to find any wreckage.
