President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited the Seruwila Mangala Maha Viharaya on Friday and engaged in religious observances.

Subsequently, addressing a public rally in Serunuwara, President Mahinda Rajapaksa emphasised that the country needs a Sri Lankan management system and not a Singaporean System.

Speaking to the public President Mahinda Rajapaksa also said that we should take Singapore as an example and create a better Sri Lanka

Meanwhile. addressing the public on Thursday evening , President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that immediate steps will be taken to re-settle those who are currently residing in relief camps in Jaffna.

Refugees who have been living in relief camps for a period of 24 years met with president Mahinda Rajapaksa in Jaffna on Thursday evening.
