Saliya Sumedha has resigned from the post of Deputy Chairman of the Uva Provincial Council.

Saliya Sumedha who functioned as the deputy chairman of the Uva Provicial Council on two occasions before, assumed duties as the deputy chairman to the council last Thursday.
