President Mahinda Rajapaksa has assured that issues in the principal and teacher services will be resolved by January.

President Rajapaksa made these observations while speaking at the opening ceremony of Mahindodaya Technical Laboratary of the Alawwa – Hambuluwa Central College.

President Rajapaksa further said that measures are being taken to improve educational facilities in rural areas and that students will be encouraged to learn not only Sinhala but also other languages as English, Japanese and Tamil.
