UNP supporters celebrate UNP Working Committee decision

An event was held in Divulapitiya on Wednesday morning to celebrate the decision taken by the UNP Working Committee last evening. UNP supporters in Madampella, Divulapitiya in Gampaha, made Kiribath (milk rice) and celebrated to sound of  drums, expressing their appreciation for the UNP’s facelift.

MP Ravi Karunanayake, who was appointed Assistant Leader of the UNP on Tuesday, visited several locations in his electorate on Wednesday.

MP Ravi Karunanayake visited the Dawalasingharamaya in Modara on Wednesday and engaged in religious observances.

MP Karunanayake also participated in Islamic religious observances and attended mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Kochchikade.

Following religious observances in Kochchikade, Karunanayake addressed his supporters.
