Today is the second day of postal voting for the Uva Provincial Council Elections. The Complaints Unit of the Elections Secretariat stated that so far they have received two complaints in connection to postal voting.

The Elections Secretariat said that postal votes can be cast from 8.30 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. on Friday  at the various government institutions set up as ballot centres. 30,742 government servants have obtained eligibility to submit their postal votes for the Uva Provincial Council Elections.

Meanwhile, Executive Director of PAFFREL Rohana Hettiarachchi said that postal voting was conducted in a peaceful manner on Thursday. He said that today too a special programme is in place to conduct voting in a similar manner.
