JVP’s Western Provincial Councillor, K.D. Lal Kantha says that the traditional exports in the country have changed.

He shared these following views:
When we were back in school and we asked our elders what sort of goods did the country send overseas, the answer was tea, coconuts and rubber. But what do we send today? Mothers, brothers and sisters. Who generates a majority of our national income?  Who generates the most foreign exchange? Our mothers brothers and sisters.
