The Elections Secretariat says the certification of the voters list pertaining to the Uva Provincial Council Election is due to be carried out on August 20.

Deputy Elections commissioner M. M. Mohammed said the voters list is currently being prepared. He further stated the postal ballot papers for the elections will be issued on August 25.

The casting of postal votes for the Uva Provincial Council Election will be carried out on September 4 and 5.
