An Air Force helicopter has been deployed to douse the fire raging through the Knuckles Reserve, which has destroyed around 200 acres of the reserve.

Air Force Media Spokesperson Wing Commander Gihan Seneviratne said that the helicopter was deployed from the Air Force camp in Rathmalana.

Our correspondents say the fire, which erupted August 10 morning, was spreading through the reserve.
