Two new high commissioners and three new ambassadors presented their credentials to President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the President’s Office on Tuesday.
New Zealand’s High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Grahame Morton , Maldivian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Zahiya Zareer, Jordanian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Joum , Bhutan’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka Pema Chodan and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka Sabit Subasic presented their credentials on Tuesday.
The Presidential Media Unit said that, after accepting credentials of the diplomats, the President had briefed them on the post-war progress Sri Lanka has achieved.
