The President of the Government Nursing Officers Association says that the ongoing nurses strike that has affected hospitals across the country will end at 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

Saman Ratnapriya made this statement at a media briefing convened by the GNOA on Monday.

Ratnapriya added that the union had decided to give authorities a grace period of seven days to resolve the issue that has arisen with regard to providing nurses with midwifery training.
