A protest was staged opposite D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha in Colombo.

According to our reporter, the protest is staged by members of the UNP against the enactment of the bill proposed pertaining to the establishment of casinos.

Our correspondent added that vehicular movement along the D.R Wijewardene Mawatha has been restricted to one lane.
