Sri Lanka cricketer Mahela Jayawardene has decided to retire from Twenty20 international at the end of ICC World T20 2014 event, along with Kumar Sangakkara.
Jayawardene has appeared in all four T20 World Cup events till now and 2014 event in Bangladesh will be his last one.
On Monday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the news on Twitter.
Jayawardene has scored eight half-centuries in T20 international matches.
