The Consumer Affairs Authority has decided to offer cash rewards to those who supply accurate information to lead the authorities to traders who violate consumer laws.
Director General of the Authority J.M.A. Douglas said that this decision was taken to receive more information on traders who violate consumer laws.
It is is learnt that informants will get a percentage of the monetary value of the goods seized by the authority on such information provided.
