Minister Mervin Silva says that he will resume duties as the SLFP electoral organiser of Kelaniya on January 23.

However,  convening a media briefing on Monday afternoon several members of the Kelaniya Pradehiya Sabha including its chairman stated that they would not accept this appointment.
