The first test encounter between Sri Lanka and Pakistan  commenced in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

The Manager of Sri lanka  Cricket stated that the participation of fast bowler Nuwan Kulasekara is doubtful.

The  test series that began on Tuesday consists of three games. The match played in Abu Dhabi  was scheduled to start at  11.30 local  time. Sri Lanka have not played the five-day format since beating Bangladesh at home in March 2013.

Michael De Silva the Manager of Sri Lanka Cricket told to News1st  that Lahiru Thirmanne was not  playing on Tuesday due to an injury.

He stated that  Nuwan Kulasekara was also not  able  to participate in the match due to his injury.

Kaushal Silva is expected to enter the team in place of retired opener T.M. Dilshan.

De Zoyza noted that  the final eleven was to be named after assessing pitch conditions.
