Inspiring the next generation of leaders to enter the limelight the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Global Startup Labs (MIT-GSL)  together with the Sri Lankan Association of Software and Service Companies (SLASSCOM) and several local universities have once again announced the beginning of Global start-up labs Sri Lanka Challenge.

The seven-month programme is aimed at identifying, developing and commercializing successful tech enterprises in Sri Lanka.

“..The programme is aimed at anyone who really has the passion and drive to be an entrepreneur  …” says Ruvindu Peiris the General Secretary of SLASSCOM during an interview with Newsfirst’s Ramesh Irugalbandara.

Unlike the past three years, the Global start-ups Sri Lanka challenge 2014 is open to all disciplines and not just the IT sector. Those selected will undergo intense training that is guaranteed to change your outlook and change the way you approach your startup.
