Indian External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid says the required changes can be brought about by working together with Sri Lanka.
Salman Khurshid who is the leader of the team of Indian delegates who arrived in Sri Lanka for the CHOGM summit made this observation responding to questions of BBC correspondents.
The BBC reported that their correspondents questioned the Indian External Affairs Minister on the non-participation of Indian Premier Manmohan Singh for the summit, the call for a full investigation by the British Prime Minister and on the statement made by President Mahinda Rajapaksa saying that the right to live has been safeguarded.
The Indian External Affairs Minister has said the non participation of the Indian Premier should not be considered as a boycott.Salman Khurshid further said that India is aware of the progressive steps taken by Sri Lanka following the end of the war.
