Supun Viraj Randeniya of Ranabima Royal College in Gannowuwa, Kandy, won the gold medal in the boys 110 metre hurdles, at the Junior South Asian Athletics Championships, a short while ago.
Supun Wiraj set a new tournament record with a time of 13.64 seconds.
 
Malin Udaya Kumara from Seevali Vidyalaya, Ratnapura, won silver in the event with a time of 14.41 seconds.Today is the final day of the Junior South Asian Athletics Championships, which are being held in Ranchi, lndia.
