IMF Team To Visit Sri Lanka Next Month For 7th EFF Review

COLOMBO (News 1st): Representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are scheduled to visit the country next month for the next review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF).

During this visit, they will conduct the 7th review and are scheduled to consider the release of the 8th tranche of EFF. 

The Ministry of Finance stated that following the review, a loan installment of approximately US$ 330 million is expected to be disbursed to the country.

Under the IMF loan program, the 6th and 7th loan tranches were released to the country last July, valued at US$ 695 million.
