Annual Feast of Our Lady of Madhu Celebrated Today in Mannar

COLOMBO (News 1st);The annual fast of the Shrine of Our Lady of Madhu in Mannar is being held today.

The festival, centered around the Feast of the Assuption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is held every year on August 15.

It is regarded as a symbol of peace and reconciliation between the North and South.

The Holy Mass for this year’s annual feast began at 6:00 a.m. today, with a large number of devotees participating in the religious celebrations.
