Kanjipani Imran's Finance Associate Arrested Along With Two Others In Malaysia

COLOMBO (News 1st); Three suspects alleged to be associates of organized crime figure Kanjipani Imran have been arrested in Malaysia.

According to police, one of those arrested is an individual known as " Ratmalane Saima," who is believed to be one of Kanjipani Imran's key associates.

Investigators further claim that Saima was responsible for handling the financial operations of the alleged criminal network headed by Kanjipani Imran.

Police said the three suspects are expected to be brought back to Sri Lanka during the coming week for further investigations and legal proceedings.

The arrests were carried out as part of an operation conducted by a team of officers attached to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
