Sufficient Fuel Reserves Available Until September : CPC

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation states that the country possesses sufficient fuel reserves until the month of September.

Its Managing Director, Mayura Neththikumara, mentioned that a vessel carrying 89,000 metric tons of crude oil from America arrived in the country yesterday as well.

Another crude oil vessel is scheduled to arrive in the island on the 31st.

Mayura Neththikumara stated that a discussion will be held next Monday to make a decision regarding fuel prices for the upcoming month.
