Construction of Rambukkana - Galagedara Section of The Central Expressway Begins Today (29)

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Construction of the Rambukkana Galagedara section under the second phase of the third segment of the Central Expressway commences today (29).

The project will be launched under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

Anuradha Hettiarachchi, Director General of the Road Development Authority said the Rambukkana Galagedara section spans across a distance of 18.7 kilometres.

He added that construction work on the first phase is underway and is expected to be completed by mid next year.
