Sri Lanka, Maldives Exchange 7 MoUs at Presidential-Level Meeting

COLOMBO (News 1st); Seven Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were exchanged in the presence of the Presidents of Sri Lanka and the Maldives at the President’s Office in Colombo.

The agreements included the renewal of an MoU on cooperation in the field of tourism, along with an MoU on archiving cooperation.

An MoU focusing on teachers’ and school leaders’ training and professional development was also exchanged.

In addition, the two sides renewed an MoU on cooperation in the field of sports and youth development.

An MoU on defence cooperation was signed, together with the renewal of an agreement on defence education, training and research cooperation.

An MoU on academic cooperation was also among the seven agreements exchanged during the event.
