Health Minister of Russia Arrives in Sri Lanka for Official Visit

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A delegation led by Health Minister of Russia Mikhail Murashko arrived in Sri Lanka this morning for a three-day official visit.

The delegation was officially welcomed at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake by Minister of Science and Technology, Prof. Chrishantha Abeysena, Secretary to the Ministry of Health Dr. Anil Jasinghe, and the Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Levan Dzhagaryan. 

The Russian Health Minister is accompanied by seven other high-ranking diplomatic officials. 

During the visit the delegation is scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with the Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Herath.
