Government To Revise Process For Leasing State Land For Cultivation

COLOMBO (News 1st); The government has turned its attention to updating the process used to lease government land to individuals for cultivation.

Commissioner General of Lands Chandana Ranaweeraarachchi said there is a need to revise the circulars related to this process.

An 11-member committee has been appointed to study the matter.

A new circular will be issued in the future based on the recommendations of this committee.
