Global Crude Oil Prices Rise Above $110

COLOMBO(News 1st);The price of crude oil in the world market has crossed the $110 mark again today.

Accordingly, the price of a barrel of crude oil in the Brent Crude market was recorded at $112.02 today.

The price of a barrel of crude oil in the American market, based on West Texas Intermediate, was recorded at $98.32.

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation says it will prioritize fuel distribution for essential services today.

Its Managing Director, Mayura Netthikumarage, stated that twice the normal daily amount of fuel was released yesterday.
