Kudu Salindu’s Inner Circle Crumbles: Two Operatives Arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Panadura-Walana Central Anti-Corruption Strike Force has arrested two close associates of notorious underworld figure and drug trafficker 'Kudu Salindu' in the Bandaragama area.

The arrests were made following a targeted raid in Lagoswatta, Kithulawa, where 36-year-old 'Palathota Madhu', a female suspect, was apprehended with a large quantity of narcotics. 

Police recovered:

250 grams and 490 milligrams of crystal methamphetamine (Ice)
301 grams and 580 milligrams of heroin
Rs. 131,000 in cash, believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking

In a separate operation, another suspect identified as Lahiru Kumara alias 'Chuti', aged 29 and a resident of Diyagama, Galpatha, was arrested with:

25 grams and 740 milligrams of Ice
A motorcycle used for drug transport

Police confirmed that Chuti is one of Kudu Salindu’s primary drug distributors in the region.

Both suspects are currently in custody under a detention order, and further investigations are underway.
