New Leadership at Narcotics Bureau In Police Reshuffle

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police Headquarters has announced significant changes in its senior leadership, including the appointment of a new Director for the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB). 

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) H.M.C.P. Herath has been named as the new Director of the PNB, succeeding SSP Hemal Prashantha, who has been transferred to the Police Field Force Headquarters.

SSP Herath previously served as the Officer-in-Charge of the Colombo South Division.

In a related development, SSP K.G.P.B. Samarapala, who was attached to the National Police Training Institute, has been appointed as the In-Charge of the Teldeniya Division.
