Police Nab Drug Suspect Behind Nationwide Bike Theft

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police have arrested notorious criminal Pus Kota and another suspect in Piliyandala, uncovering a cache of ICE (methamphetamine) and exposing their connection to a nationwide motorcycle theft syndicate.

According to police sources, the suspects were found in possession of 10 grams and 300 milligrams of ICE, a highly addictive synthetic drug. 

Investigations have revealed that Pus Kota and his gang are responsible for a series of motorcycle thefts across multiple regions. 

So far, nine individuals linked to the gang have been arrested in various parts of the country, including two women.

Police have confirmed that the gang is connected to the theft of at least 10 motorcycles in Piliyandala, Kahatuduwa, and Horana, with further investigations underway to trace additional stolen vehicles and identify other members of the network.
