Piliyandala Drug Bust: Duo Nabbed with Heroin and Ice

COLOMBO (News 1st): Two suspects have been arrested in Bokundara, Piliyandala with two kilograms of heroin and 500 grams of Ice in their possession.

Police stated that the arrests were made during a raid carried out by officers of the Police Special Task Force (STF).

According to Police, the two suspects are believed to be operatives of a local drug network linked to a wanted organized criminal named Avishka, who is currently hiding overseas.

The suspects and the seized narcotics have been handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigations.
