Former Minister Wimal Weerawansa Summoned To Tangalle Crime Investigation Unit

COLOMBO (News 1st): Former Minister Wimal Weerawansa has been summoned today (6) to the Tangalle Divisional Crime Investigation Unit.

Sri Lanka Police said that Weerawansa has been summoned at around 10:00 a.m. today, to record a statement regarding a comment he had made concerning an individual named Beliatte Sana.

The individual known as Beliatte Sana was recently arrested along with a vessel linked to a drug trafficking incident in Tangalle and is currently being questioned under a detention order.
