COLOMBO (News 1st); Chairman of the United National Party (UNP), Wajira Abeywardana, appeared before the Financial Crimes Investigation Department this morning.
This was in connection with an investigation into alleged illegally acquired assets.
According to News 1st's correspondent, he arrived at the Illegal Assets and Property Investigation Division around 9 a.m. this morning.
