Ten-Hour Water Cut Scheduled in Gampaha Tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st): The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 10-hour water cut in several areas of Gampaha, effective from 10 a.m. tomorrow.

This disruption is due to the cleaning of the transmission pipe between Nittambuwa and Minuwangoda, which serves the Gampaha, Attanagalla, and Minuwangoda combined water supply system.

As a result, water supply will be suspended to the following areas: Nittambuwa Kandahena, Mapagolla, Kongasdeniya, Pinnagolla Watte, Kolawatta, Gorakadeniya, Ranpokunagama, Ranpokunagama Housing Scheme, Bataliya, Attanagalla, Pasyala, Urapola, Dikkanda, Mivitigammana, Maimbula, Matalana, Haggala, Alawala, Kalalpitiya, and Ellamulla.
