Gammadda and Google Benevity Unite to Empower Pregnant Mothers in Rural Sri Lanka

In a powerful collaboration for community wellbeing, the Gammadda Movement has partnered with Google to launch a life-changing initiative supporting pregnant mothers in Sri Lanka’s most underserved rural areas.

This new program, focused on delivering essential nutritional packs, directly targets maternal malnutrition—a growing concern in remote regions where access to healthcare and proper nutrition is limited. By addressing this critical need, Gammadda and Google are working to safeguard the health of both mothers and their unborn children, building a healthier future for entire communities.

Through Google Benevity generous backing, the first phase has already supported over 140 expectant mothers in isolated villages, delivering not just aid, but hope.

This initiative adds a vital human dimension to Gammadda’s broader mission of rural transformation, which has already brought clean water, infrastructure, and opportunity to thousands across the island. The partnership stands as a shining example of how global innovation and local action can come together to uplift those who need it most.
