Over 72,000 Power Outages Reported Amid Adverse Weather in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has reported that more than 72,023 power outages have occurred across the country over the past several days due to severe weather conditions.

According to CEB spokesperson Engineer Dhammika Wimalaratne, as of 8:00 AM today, 50,423 outages have already been restored, accounting for over 70% of the total disruptions.
